2025 KUMU GOBs Alumni Homecoming
90th Year Celebration!
Join the Kutztown University Marching Unit (KUMU) and the Graduate Order of Bands (GOBs) as we celebrate KUMU’s 90th year at Homecoming! Alumni, parents, and friends are invited to gather at the Risley Pavilion (back side, adjacent to the stadium parking lot) for a full day of music, memories, and game-day spirit. Alumni have the option to play in the stands and/or join KUMU on the field at halftime!

10:00 am - Tailgate & social at the Risley Tent
KUF will provide light breakfast items and coffee. -
10:30 am-1:30 pm: DMZ tents open (Consider registering for the Cub Tent or Bear Tent for additional food & fun.)

12:45 pm: Drumline Warm-up and tailgate performance (near stadium main entrance)

1:30 pm: KUMU & Alumni rehearsal (behind Old Main)

1:45 pm: KUMU Parade (Join us or watch - up to you!)

3:00 pm: Kickoff

Alumni Participant: $25 per person (includes KUMU Alumni T-shirt and game ticket)

Parent/Friend (non-alum): $10 per person (game ticket; no t-shirt)

About KUMU
The Kutztown University Marching Unit (KUMU) is the marching band at Kutztown University. The Marching Unit is an energetic part of the campus community providing music, marching, and entertainment at all KU Golden Bears Football home games, select away games, regional marching band festivals/competitions, sporting events, and additional campus spirit activities. The Marching Unit is currently composed of Winds, Brass, Percussion (drumline & front ensemble), and Color Guard (flag, weapon, & twirler) members who share their talents and experiences.
As a member of KUMU, you will provide support for KU sports teams, develop life-long friendships, develop meaningful memories, have pride in yourself, and experience YOUR school in a very unique atmosphere. We invite you to join us in creating dynamic musical and electric visual experiences in the marching arts for the KU Community.
